Michael Cullen Music

Hello
I'm Michael Cullen, a senior at American University with a passion for both audio production and the business side of music. I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Audio Production with a minor in Finance at American University, where I've gained hands-on experience in studio techniques, live sound engineering, and production mixing.
My Story
I started producing at 15, making hip-hop beats in FL Studio, which quickly grew into something bigger. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with artists like Rich Amiri, Summrs, Iayze (Jace), BFB Da Packman, and Eli Fross, as well as established rap producers like Great John, Jetsonmade, Cxdy and Danny Wolf. Under my artist name, Redondo Kid, I’ve produced songs that have surpassed a million streams across platforms. Beyond production, I’ve gained experience in studio operations, recording, and mixing through my internship at My Lady On Fire studio. Currently, I have been helping ASCAP award-winning composer Jeremy Silver at Paradiso Music Group with sync production. Through this role, I’ve been learning about sync licensing, and creating music for commercials, movies, and recording artists. This experience has also pushed me to work across many different genres, broadening my skills as both a producer and musician. With certifications in Pro Tools 101 and 110, and fluency in FL Studio and Ableton, I’m always working to get better and learn different programs. My background in finance helps me think strategically about the music business. My goal is to build a career that blends creativity with strategy, whether it's through production, sync licensing, or management. Outside of music, I enjoy distance running and baseball.
